A wonderful day to be thankful, appreciate, and reflect.
Mothered to mothering.
And of the two, I'm not sure which I could say is greater, but I could not live without either.
Sure I have had hopes and dreams just like anyone else, but I have always had a deep desire to be a mother. At age eight, when choosing which profession to be caricatured as, I chose a mom. The artist drew me with a big smile and kids clinging to my every limb.
To me, it is a profession. It is my work. Work to never be taken lightly, but also work that is much more rewarding than a paycheck would ever be.
Thanks to all mothers and those who mother. Although you may not get a thank you for what you do, the world appreciates it.
And to my own mom: I couldn't begin to express my thanks to you, from my happy memories of my childhood to molding me into the woman, and mother, I have become, I am forever blessed to be your daughter.
And to my girl: You are the brightest light in the world, my dear, and I will hold you, and love you, forever.
beautfiul and nice. As always!
