Reason #1,893,455 I love my Dad

Your hair in the nineties. (Like I should really be talking. Am I sporting a post perm Mom?)

Reason #1,893,456?

The unconditional love you have for your girls. The time you put into being a dad. Because although I may never have said it before, that time made me a better person. A stronger, more confident woman. A mom who will hopefully pass that onto her daughters.

Thanks Dad. A million billion thanks. And a very happy birthday.

Take you for a ride in my big white clothesbasket

Oh Reesie, I know this may seem a little bit strange, but it's one of the many things we do for fun around here.

nap time?

My only question is this: Will I ever learn?

Loving on Charcoal

We've talked around here about the possibility of Ella being a vet. It would be beneficial to the ranch, and the girl loves animals. She's kind of an animal whisperer of sorts.

I know our cats would be just pleased too. She's getting plenty of pratice caring for them in the meantime.

Nighty night!

Love you both to the moon and back.

Breath of Fresh Air

We welcome nice days with open arms. So does Leroy. Our nice little pup much enjoys days that we play outside. With him. When he hasn't misplaced his ball.

And of course we (Ella and Leroy) enjoy when there's snow on the ground to munch on. Problem is, this snow wasn't too clean. The dialogue going on during the above picture is me saying, "Ella, honey, that snow is so dirty!" (I know a little dirt isn't going to hurt, but it develops a behavior of non exclusive snow eating. Which I learned the other day in Billings when my daughter grabbed a chunk of snow - black and mostly dirt I would say - from the parking lot and took a bite.) (Sorry Dad, I shouldn't have even mentioned it!)

A snow eating girl also needs a tasty treat in a warm cup once we're inside. Yum!

Grandma Karen:

I might need a hair cut.
