we're baaaaaaaack!

Mondays are usually fun days around this house. It's kind of my day to clean up, get laundry together, make sense of groceries and meals for the rest of the week, and get Ella back on track after a usually pretty busy and non-napping weekend.



Like clock work, Ella was up and ready to go this morning and had lots of fun playing in the mess I had going on in the kitchen (Earlier I had cleaned the mess from the car). She especially likes sitting in boxes and making the cats sit with her, too. And again like clock work, she was ready for a big napping session this morning at 10. So, I had lots of time to get our house taken care of right?




Here's what went wrong:




-Downstairs is WAY too hot to function, because of loading up the fireplace. Now I can manage a while being hot (unlike one particular sister... "I'm SOOOOOOOOOO HOT") but it's difficult to stay focused.


(I'm sorry J's missing, but this is just too funny)



-A project with my neighbor seemed to be calling my name. On all days!! But, we've been talking about this quilt for at least a year. Don't worry, I'm only in the pre-cutting stages. :)




-Ella was apparently playing hide-and-seek with the remote. And now our TV has the six screens option on and without music, cleaning is very boring. I learned that from my parents.




So, I've moved beyond cleaning to the computer. I've just got lots of catching up to do . New Sagebrush paintings to upload, a calendar to complete, an abandoned facebook to check up on, and junk emails to delete. And of course checking up on my sweet sister to see if she has any new insight for me. Important and non-important, but once I'm already here, doesn't it make sense just to do it all?




And maybe we'll spend part of the day blowing around with the wind. Sounds delightful!

And she is just delightful, isn't she?
