Imagine me doing this.
Happy Friday? Try frustration overload.
I told my sister, "I'm not blogging today" for fear that I would lose my 2 readers (Hi mom and dad!) over the tirade I was about to go on. Joyful was the last thing on my mind, and undoubtedly some four letter words were creeping to the tip of my tongue.
And then, a moment of clarity. A moment where I landed back on my feet, where time froze a second. Where my crying babies hushed. Where clogged sinks drained. Where (now thawed) frozen pizzas found their way back into our freezer. Ahhh.
And then I got peed on.
And then I got peed on.
Which so humbly reminded me, this is my perfection. My imperfect perfection.
I love my life, complete with my somewhat (okay I'll be honest) totally messy house, the one pig tailed now well-rested toddler saying, "I need (with her pointer finger in the air, dramatic pause)... ice cream", the somewhat cranky 5 week old sighing heavily then smiling while drifting off to sleep, and a non-plumber husband saving the day with a pipe snake. Sound like your fantasy?
Well it's mine. :)
And a huge thank you to my ever teaching blog: without you, bloggy blog, this day might have been considered (gasp) bad.
Ah.....you have 3 readers...Keep it up, you're doing great!
ReplyDeleteGod Bless you and yours!
Actually you have 4 :) I love reading your blog and your outlook on life. Sorry you got pee'd on!
ReplyDeleteHahahaha! I'm sorry for an icky day. I love the picture AND I can TOTALLY see the Italian baby needing ice cream.
ReplyDeleteUmm... make that 5 readers... I am elated every time there is a new post! I love your grace in embracing every day - no matter what it brings! I love knowing now that you are even human enough to not always have the perfect days that are portrayed in your blog! :) Beauty isn't always so beautiful, is it??? :)
ReplyDeleteWe are here, we are here, we are here!!! Can't wait to see our two little Montana girls this week!
ReplyDeleteLove,
