At the beginning of June, we braved a DIY project in the form of a playset. By the end of June it was finally complete! {thanks to the help of Ken and Spencer, and not so much me!) :)
Spencer and I worked through a hot morning to finish a tedious tube slide, and it was finally finished! Our labor of love was totally worth it -- the girls spent the day playing in the "clubhouse", swinging, and sliding. It was perfect. And the very next day...
... the wind blew the darn thing down. Luckily, no major damage was incurred, but our playset is missing its roof to protect us from future gusts of wind. And we're reminded again that things are a bit more rough and tumble in our neck of the woods. :)
