leek lake time!!

Although we seem to plan our trips home in the colder times of lake season, we still had so much fun spending a weekend at my parent's cabin in Minnesota!  Jenna's idea of a bon fire was perfect, complete with the popular smores!  {chocolate on Reesie's face :)}

Speaking of my sweet sister Jenna, who is a recent hs grad {yay J!} -- she spent lots of time with our girls, watching them while we were out at the city wide garage sales, getting them to bed so I could celebrate a friend's wedding, and saving a Minneapolis shopping trip by loading tons of games on her phone.  Thanks Auntie Jenna! :)

Here's the thing about these 3 girls:  when one does it, they all want to.  Thankfully they all still fit on Grandpa's lap!  We only veered into weeds a couple times with their steering.

Thanks for the fun times, mom and dad!  We can't wait to come back and be able to swim, paddleboat, and enjoy great company!!!
