I realize that this post might make one think that we're big time into cats around our house.
Well, I guess if you think that, you might be right. See, we do love our 3 kitties around here. We love their company, their entertainment, and their patience.
And I admit, I'm a cat lady. Sure, I teared up Easter weekend listening to the story about my first cat Purry's demise {you'll have to hear that one from my dad} and tried to convince my parents not to give away Roger and Ruthie. So, naturally, my girls would learn that kind of cat sympathy from me.
Lately, the girls and at least one cat have morning meetings in Reese's crib. They laugh and giggle, and even have lessons.
"Mama, I'm teaching Reese to say please. Reese, do you want this baby?"
"Eeeeeze"
"There you go Reese! Good job Reesie!"
"Dant dooo."
And so it continued.
Yes, we're cat ladies. But we're Leroy's pals too. We love frogs, worms -- but not flies. We're into horses like Jackpot, baby calves, the bulls in our backyard, birds Leroy chases away, and more. Much much more. :)
