sssseriously...

ssssnake-y happenings around our place lately.

and yessss, that's me touching it with my bare hands. What's a girl to do, though? When I sssspotted the little bugger crawling around in my kitchen, I trapped him with my broom (maybe a bit too hard) then called Ella down for an impromptu science lesson. The main concept was that snakes can be dangerous, so we need to tell mom or dad if we see one. While this little guy was harmless, I'm not sure if I would have been so brave if it were a rattlesnake.
