We even had two rattlesnakes lurking near our house. Seriously.
But this house had been busy busy. The phone constantly rings for the trucking business, as Spencer's busiest time, the fall run as they call it, is upon us. Our own ranch is busy moving cows, working them, and getting ready to ship out our calves.
And back to my good old days of fall meaning volleyball. The head coach in town has been diagnosed with kidney cancer, and decided that she will still teach, but passed on her coaching duties. (The coach and her family are so courageous, check out the Pack the Place in Purple we're having this weekend during homecoming! Your prayers and support are greatly appreciated.)
The girls love being at the gym, and have met many friends who love to watch them! They hardly have to come though, because they've logged many hours at Grandma Mary's and at home with Daddy. Spencer and Mary have really made it possible for me to coach with the girls.
As always, I love being in the gym and working with the great group of girls. I'm so excited to watch them grow this season... and of course, win :)
