rainy days...

Trust me, I'm not complaining about the rain. (I'd probably be booted off the ranch if I was.)

Actually, I love it. My flowers and my yard love it. And my babies love it too. Sometimes we head outside and brave the weather, but for the most part, we resort to winter-like indoor activities. What started as helping me wash dishes turned into an hour long soak in the sink. We made caramel rolls (thanks mom!), cleaned up the girls' bedrooms, played in the playroom, made up stories, and organized (and reorganized) (and reorganized) our DVD collection. We're hoping our DVD player lasts longer this time around, without 43 cents of spare change clanking around inside.

Especially since it looks like another week of scattered showers.
