32 months

Ella Louise, even though I have lost count on how old you are monthly, I know you are a big girl! Here is a little snapshot of your life these days:

• You are Ms. Independent. You like to at least try everything by yourself, and then you'll ask for help.
• You love to help me! You'll clean, carry things, help with laundry, and your favorite is cooking and baking! You're a great dishwasher too!
• Being outside is your favorite. You love to explore, and wander around to find new and exciting things! You like to take care of our flowers and plants, and LOVE to play with the hose. (especially with Leroy)
• You like to play catch, and practice batting with Daddy! You kick soccer balls, and jump, and even do somersaults!
• You sometimes nap. But you always wake up and say, "I'm awake. And I'm happy!"

• You say some pretty funny things. "What-is you-doing?" is my personal favorite. You also like to call people out when they are "being wild."
• You are such a great big sister. You love to help, and share your toys (most of the time), and play with Reese. Anytime you're up in the playroom, you'll ask me to bring Reese up there and put her in your house, so you guys can make muffins together.
• You LOVE to sing! You're not afraid to perform either. You're favorites are ABC's and Twinkle Twinkle, but we're expanding some more. You also like to make up your own songs, many of which are dialogues of whatever you're playing with: "the baby needs to go to sleep, watch out, don't fall, be quiet baby's sleeping".
• Your newest skill is telling stories. "Once upon a time, there was a beautiful princess named Ella..." is normally how things go.
  

• You LOVE animals. All types {except some especially gross creepy crawly bugs} and you have a way with them. Almost every cat that has crossed your path has been coaxed into your arms.
• You like to take trips and like being in the car. You like to go to "Harlows" to the post office and the grocery "story". It's always an adventure!
• Just like your Grandma, you like to paint. Any kind of art projects actually. It's so much fun to see what you can create! Spiders have been your latest creation.
• You like to snuggle in at night, read books with Mama, Daddy, and Reesie, and have your back scratched before you go to sleep. Almost always you like to read one more book or hear one more song.

Oh my sweet Ella, you are such a joy in our lives. Keep on smiling sweetie! I love you!
