horses

Spencer is still night calving, meaning the girls and I try to find ways to sneak outside and give him a little peace and quiet during the day. I can't complain though, with beautiful weather, we are itching to get outside anyway. We've been every which way on our walks, and this mama can only push so far with two little riders in the stroller.

We did visit the horses, which was fun until Ella lost her bandaid, and well, it all went downhill. By the time we were down the hill, her humming and singing had stopped, and Reese's got louder. I figured I'd have a snoozing girl, but she was beyond catnapping. I brought her inside and snuggled her in for a nice little nap. Reese enjoyed having a little quiet time with mama while her big sis slept. More horsey pictures to come!
