I suppose I should just listen. But, I insisted.
She persisted.
At least it's not a straight up no.
But this two year old clearly "doesn't sink so" about the majority of my ideas these days.
including:
taking pictures
eating dinner with us
going to bed
("how 'bout D-D-D Dora" "how "bout DIS book mama" "how 'bout ice cream cones")
But, there are times when she'll respond with a resounding "SHOOOORE!" or a emphatic "YES!" A lot of those times involve helping me bake, cook, help out Reesie, throw laundry down the chute, clean up and of course, going outside. (I suppose she hasn't yet turned down an ice cream cone either.)
Well, you just can't quite predict what will come out of her mouth next...
Oh Bethany! I never want Henry to grow up, but I can not wait to see him at that age. How adorable! You are one lucky mama. Thanks on the blog, I will probably change it soon though, I think my name is spelled wrong... UGH! Stay warm.
