Hair, long beautiful hair

I've always had this thing with my hair. (My mom says I'm just being a baby). I suffer from a sensitive head. Really I do. And it hurts to comb it. All throughout my childhood years I was pained with having to comb my hair. Thankfully I was blessed with a mom who was skilled in styling, and I always wore the latest and greatest hairstyles. (thanks mom! even for my famous perm!)
Anyway, I knew when my family came out for Thanksgiving, the topic would come up. Each day I watched Ella's hair shade her eyes ever so slightly, and my attempts at keeping them from her face were unsuccessful. I prepared myself fully for my baby's first haircut.
Now that you mention it, it does look a little bit haggard.

My dad was a little nervous for how she would be, but Ella sat quiet and still as my mom evened up her wispy sandy blond hair. She loved every second of it. (She's also eyeing the sucker that she will get upon the completion of her haircut)

And I'll be honest, I shed a couple tears when I saw the finished result. Don't get me wrong, it's beautiful, but she

looks... so... old.

Thanks mama for the cute cut! Can't wait for a trim over Christmas :)
