Somewhere along the lines I forgot how much fun baths were. I forgot about the "mudpies" we used to make with bubbles, the hairstyles we came up with, and the hours I spent with just a couple of plastic cups and bubble bath. We meaning, of course, my big sister. And we would play until our hands pruned and the water turned cold. (Okay, Laura joined too sometimes, but 3's pushing it in a small tub)
Right now a double bath means a lot of reminding "No, honey, Reesie would rather not have you putting horses on her face" or "Not even a little splash is okay" but I know that there are many fun times ahead. It absolutely means no pictures, at least not for a while. (I have no free hands!)
But it does mean that once Reese has had enough and is snuggling in her jammies, Ella and I get to play beauty shop. Lookin' good honey!
Cute! Look at Ella's little chubby butt! She looks like she has SO much fun in the bath! Hartley doesn't want to do anything but chill when she's in the bath tub. Doesn't want toys, doesn't want to splash around - just wants to relax. It's pretty funny. I bet she would change her mind though if she got to take a bathy with Miss Ella L.!
