It's one of my favorite things to watch my babies sleep. They look so peaceful, so rested, and so very angelic. With a new baby in the house, I'm spoiled with that newborn sleep, complete with cooing sighs and fluttering eyes. I'm one lucky mom.
But I still like checking in on Ella before I go to sleep at night.
So I snuck into her room and the glow of her nightlight revealed that yet again, she had a sleepover planned that I was not aware of.
I still cannot quite get over why that cat continues to put herself in situations that are not always the most appealing to her. And, if anyone knows how Charcoal and Ella normally interact with each other, this too would surprise you. During daylight hours, it's usually a mix between a wrestling match and an all out throw down showdown, and most likely ends with a screech from the both of them. The logistics seem to phase me, because if you've ever had a sleepover with Ella, or any toddler for that matter, tossing and turning takes on a whole new meaning. So how they peacefully fell asleep all snugly together, I may never know.
Maybe Charcoal just wants to be the unsung star of my blog.
Oh, the mysteries of life.
I'd say you are lucky to have a cat that likes to cuddle!
