Green thumb

Ahhh spring! (even though we've still got some forecasted snow this week)

I'm a perfect mix of my mom and dad. I love my flower beds, and am excited to see what this year will bring for my gardening. But, I also have a connection to my lawn and getting it to be a nice barefoot kind of turf for the little kiddos and me. (And don't worry, I'm not in competition with either of them... it would take a long time for me to get where they're at.)

And besides their expert advice, my mother-in-law is a master gardener of these parts, and really knows what is drought-proof and deer-proof, and what doesn't ever work for her. I always get clumps of her plants too, to add to my beds.

And because I am well set, so Ella will be. She helped me water and couldn't get enough of the hose. I can't wait for a summer full of outside fun :)
