Seventh BRODDDDERR!

Sister.

I will probably never be able to explain what being a sister means to me.

They are my link to the happy past. The singing, dancing, laughing, and colorful past. Because they exist, so will those memories.

I can't help but look at my littlest sis J and remember when she was a blonde stocky toddler with vampire teeth, wanting rides in the clothes basket. Rola and her bouncy head, sensitive heart, and self trimmed bangs. Rockstar and her fake perms, brown dyed cableknit sweater and her love of hair spray and candles.

Where would I be without them? I know only children turn out just fine, but it makes me sad to think of my life minus 3 sisters. Minus any of them, for that matter. Oh I am so greatly blessed.

They help define who I am.

As a drama queen teenager, I really didn't appreciate the conversion van trips, singing in church, or just plain living together as a family. Before I knew it I was graduated and off starting my own life. I would give my left arm to get a sister hug right now.

Thank you mom and dad for having four children. Thank you sissies, for being who you are and loving me like crazy. Thank you God for putting me in my family, it was a good fit!

Thank you God for blessing my family now, Miss Ella now, with our second little peanut. We can't wait to all be able to love on this baby this August!

And she will get the much coveted title of Big Sister. Oh she will be so very good. I can't wait!
