"... but with Montana, it is love."
So very true Mr. Steinbeck.
I wasn't born and raised here, but it is easy to see how you can fall in love with the big sky and want to call it your home. I am so very lucky I do.
We are nestled among three mountain ranges, on acres and acres where the deer and the antelope do play. (So do elk, bobcats, coyotes, rattle snakes and my personal favorites, field mice.)
Now, don't get me wrong. I am a home grown North Dakotan, and always will be (Montanans won't let me forget it). I love ND. You will never find a more friendly state, but I really like my peace and quiet and little slice of heaven here in MT.
So I take full advantage of it. The mountains never look the same. Every day they take on a different personality. It is almost an obsession of mine to check them out. So, because of these mountains, my baby plays outside a lot. She gets really dirty, puts rocks and mud and other gross things in her mouth, and falls into cowpies (real ones). But she just loves it, no matter the weather (beautiful tuesday/snowstorm wednesday).
And the best part is, we are learning this whole Montana lifestyle together.
Perfect perfect Bethany! I love all of it. Plain and simply. We North Dakotans miss you. Montana's lucky to have you!
