After the snow

After getting a foot of snow, I'm encouraged by the bright warm sunshine, and fall will come again... soon. After all, we haven't even been able to revel in the beauty of red, orange, and yellow leaves falling. I can't wait!

She wasn't too sure about playing in the snow, and it took us more time getting ready than it took to actually "play." The fresh air was refreshing, for us both, and we had a wonderful time watching Leroy chase birds and our kitties tenatively scope out the situation. We even took a walk to see the cows and Ella showed off her ability to say "moo!"

And today, the sun is melting away the last remnants of snow in our yard. Fall is coming...
